A multi-level composite deck project at a private waterfront residence on Finley Point, connecting a main house and guest house across steep grade changes via staircases, a bridge, and a connecting walkway. I joined the project in the finishing stages, contributing framing on the long staircase, bridge, and walkway, and laying much of the Trex composite decking. A highlight of the finish work was a handrail system with a composite cocktail board top rail — getting the post holes routed cleanly required building a dedicated jig, which produced a result that was both structurally sound and visually sharp.
