Finish carpentry work on a new residential build, including pine baseboard and door casing throughout, a custom-built vanity for the guest bath, and laminate flooring installation. Straightforward work, done cleanly.

This project also introduced me to Montana's construction lien process firsthand — when the GC failed to pay his subcontractors despite having been paid by the homeowner, I filed a lien in Flathead County and coordinated with legal counsel to pursue the claim. The effort resulted in recovery not just for me but for other subs on the project as well. I now know that process well, and I run my own projects to make sure nobody ever needs to use it.
