At Montana Timbercraft, every piece is handcrafted with care in our Montana workshop and shipped with equal attention to detail. The information below outlines our shipping process, timelines, carriers, and what you can expect when you place an order.

 

1. Production Time

All furniture is made to order. Please allow 4 to 8 weeks for your item to be built before it is shipped.
Production time may vary depending on:

  • Current order volume

  • Complexity of your piece

  • Wood species availability

We’ll keep you informed with updates throughout the build process.

 

2. Shipping Methods

We currently offer free ground shipping within the continental United States (Lower 48). Orders are typically shipped via:

  • FedEx Ground

  • UPS Ground (as needed)

Each item is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

 

3. Shipping Notifications & Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive:

  • A shipment confirmation email

  • One or more tracking numbers (depending on how many packages are sent)

Items may arrive in multiple boxes depending on size and configuration.

 

4. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on your location. Remote or rural areas may require additional time.

 

5. Shipping Restrictions

We currently do not ship to:

  • P.O. Boxes

  • Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. Territories

  • International addresses

If you're located outside our standard delivery area, contact us at mark@montanatimbercraft.com for a custom shipping quote.

 

6. Damaged Shipments

If your item arrives damaged:

  1. Inspect the package immediately upon delivery. Photograph any damage to the box before opening.

  2. Notify us within 48 hours by emailing mark@montanatimbercraft.com and include:

    • Your order number

    • Clear photos of the damage

    • Photos of the packaging and shipping label

We’ll determine the best course of action—whether repair, replacement, or refund.

 

7. Shipping Insurance

All shipments are insured during transit at no additional charge. Damage claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.

 

8. Order Changes & Address Corrections

If you need to change your shipping address after placing an order, contact us immediately. Changes after shipment may result in rerouting fees or delays.
