At Montana Timbercraft, each piece of furniture is made to order—handcrafted one at a time using premium hardwoods and traditional joinery. Because of the custom nature of our work, we have a specific refund policy in place to protect both our customers and the craftsmanship that defines our business.
1. Made-to-Order Furniture
All furniture is built to order and considered custom. For this reason, we are unable to accept returns or offer full refunds once production has started, unless an item is defective or damaged during shipping.
2. Cancellations
You may cancel your order within 72 hours of purchase for a full refund.

If you cancel after 72 hours, but before production has begun, we may offer a partial refund or store credit.

Once production has started, all sales are considered final.
If you need to cancel, email us immediately at mark@montanatimbercraft.com with your order number.
3. Damage During Shipping
If your order arrives damaged:

Montana Timbercraft covers return shipping or repair costs for items damaged in transit.
4. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us at mark@montanatimbercraft.com within 5 days of delivery. We will:

5. Non-Refundable Situations
We cannot offer refunds for:

Custom pieces with requested modifications

Natural wood variations (color, grain, figure)

Furniture damaged after delivery due to misuse, humidity, neglect, or improper care

6. Refund Method
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days after the returned item is received or the claim is approved.
